With the addition of real wood products to our product line, Wallprotex is excited to offer elegant yet practical wall protection solutions for your commercial building. Our new wood products include an ergonomic handrail, durable chair rails, and lean rail. Thoughtfully crafted, these wood products contribute a hospitable atmosphere to interior spaces.

Created from hardwoods such as Poplar, Oak, Maple, and Cherry, our handrail, chair rails, and lean rail increase well-being for occupants while preventing damage to walls by wheelchairs, carts and other objects. Traditionally found in assisted living and elderly care facilities, wood wall protection is perfect for buildings where occupant safety and aesthetic design are top priorities.

All our wood products are FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody certified.

Wood Chair Rails

Wood chair rails or crash rails help to maintain the appearance of buildings by preventing chairs or carts from harming interior walls. Each width (5 ⅛”, 2 ¾”, 2 ½”, and 3 ¼”) possesses its own unique wooden profile.

The 3 ¼” chair rails can be ordered with ribbed or curved inserts. The 5 ⅛” chair rail features a half-grip to expand mobility options for occupants.

Wood Lean Rail

The 3 ¼” wide Wood Lean Rail is another option for buildings where safety and design are essential elements. The lean rail has a 3 ½” flat surface design. The flat surface may be especially beneficial for those with arthritic hands or people who generally have trouble gripping a round handrail.
